An extra Bank Holiday which was a little overcast with sunny intervals. Jean at Walpole Highway post office had arranged for some suitable decor for today's big event :

I was travelling back from Shropshire this morning and my first X1 sighting wasn't until lunchtime with 37570 heading for Peterborough as the 12.50 from King's Lynn.

37157 was the sole B7 on the X1 today, the rest of the service being Gemini B9 worked. Malcolm says "saw 37578 work K5 this afternoon, 37565 was on the 1510 1a service to Martham and 37566 arrived on Y7 on time". Ryan confirms 37565 on the 1's after doing K6.
